IT Enterprise Data Operations Intern

The IT Enterprise Data Operations (EDO) team focuses on delivering and supporting capabilities that enable data analysis, data visualization and decision-making.  This empowers Boston Dynamics's employees to connect and collaborate more easily, collect and mine data for analytical insights, and enhance performance across all aspects of Boston Dynamics’s value chain.  The IT intern (summer) will have an opportunity to work in each of these areas as a fully-immersed member of the Enterprise Data Operations team.

Day to day activities

  • Database development and configuration: Designs, develops, configures, and tests database queries to meet business requirements.  Business domains include manufacturing operations, supply chain, customer support and IT.

  • Business analysis: Uses knowledge of business processes to define requirements, analyze options, and create information designs to solve business problems.

  • Data analysis: Develops reporting & analytical solutions to turn data into business insights. Includes the management of reusable & consistent data structures, and the development of data visualizations (dashboards) for broad, company use.

  • Participate in team projects and activities as assigned.

Desired skills

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters of Science degree in: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, MIS, Business Information Systems, Business or Engineering with IT focus (other related majors may be considered) with graduation expected in Spring 2027.

  • Ability to learn new technologies and processes information quickly

  • Ability to adapt to changes in timelines and sequences

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The base pay range for this position is between $30 to $35 hourly. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This range represents a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
