As an IT Development Lead, you play a key role within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering business projects that integrate technological solutions. You are responsible for ensuring the quality of the software assets developed, making sure they align with architectural guidelines and industry best practices. You act as both a technology advisor, a catalyst for best practices, and a hands-on contributor to execution.
Responsibilities
Actively participate in investigating issues raised by users or the quality assurance team.
Define the development activities required for initiatives and assess the necessary effort as well as technical constraints.
Assign development tasks, monitor progress, and support the team in resolving technical challenges.
Participate in the deployment and stabilization of solutions in production environments.
Ensure compliance with development standards for all delivered assets
High proficiency in Microsoft .NET technologies. Expertise in microservices architecture. Ability to mentor and support full-stack developers.
Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (BA, QA, Architects, Developers), including offshore resources.
Qualifications
3 to 6 years of experience in a software development leadership role
6 to 12 years of experience in application development
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software development, or a CEGEP diploma (DEC) in computer science or software development combined with relevant experience
Strong investigative skills with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Proven influence and leadership abilities, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Open-minded and innovative, with a passion for continuous improvement.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
