Purpose / Role:

Provide day‑to‑day Level 1/2 IT support to end users, ensuring devices, software, and network access are maintained effectively with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

  • Deliver Level 1/2 support via phone, MS Teams, email, ticketing system, or walk‑ins.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain end‑user devices.
  • Manage user access and permissions in line with policy.
  • Perform regular updates and system maintenance.

Documentation

  • Maintain accurate ticketing records.
  • Keep SOPs and IT asset inventory up to date.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Prepare, issue, and collect IT equipment for starters and leavers.
  • Deliver IT induction and ensure users access key systems seamlessly.

Training & User Support

  • Provide basic IT training and best‑practice guidance.
  • Maintain training materials.

Procurement & Asset Management

  • Coordinate hardware procurement with vendors.
  • Track and manage IT assets effectively.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–4 years of IT support experience, ideally in a large organisation.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability with good knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, remote support tools, and Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and time‑management skills.
  • Proactive, solutions‑driven, and customer‑focused.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
