Looking for a role where you have the freedom to innovate, can truly work in an Agile way (without compromising continuity and compliance), and help deliver stable, secure services to end users? Then please read on. We have an IT Chapter Lead vacancy in the Competitive Services area within Financial Markets & Global Treasury (FM>), in the Transaction Reporting Development chapter.
Our purpose is to empower people to stay a step ahead in life and in business. We are an industry recognized strong brand with positive recognition from customers in many countries, strong financial position, Omni-channel distribution strategy and international network.
The Team
IT for Financial Markets & Group Treasury enables some of ING’s most critical commercial activities: Trading, Risk Management and Liquidity Management. Every hour, our systems process tens of thousands of trades in real time. Getting this right—whether through flawless processing or immediate correction and reporting to regulators—is essential when billions of euros flow through our platforms each day.
Our teams are spread across the globe: the Netherlands, Romania, Belgium, Singapore, the UK, the Philippines and India, supporting users in more than 15 countries. Many of our teams work virtually and include engineers from all over the world—so English is our main working language.
We work in DevOps Scrum teams and take end-to-end ownership of our software: analysis, design, development, implementation and production support (we build it, we own it). We automate wherever we can—deployments, functional/technical/performance testing, health checks, monitoring, alerting and anything else still done manually. Our ambition is to move towards fully self-managing and self-optimising systems.
The chapter craftsmanship is built around some of the strategic applications in the FM> domain, critical for our business and need to be up and running virtually 24/7.
