Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Join our Technology Service Operations team and help deliver safe, resilient and well governed technology change across Westpac. You will play an important role in coordinating and assuring change activity across a wide technology landscape, supporting stability, continuity and strong business outcomes.
You will manage the end-to-end change lifecycle, working closely with Release Specialists, engineering teams and service resilience functions. You will assess change, support planning, facilitate CAB forums and lead readiness reviews. You will also help drive continuous improvement by using insights and post implementation learning to uplift our change maturity.

In this role, you will:
Manage and govern the end-to-end technology change process
Coordinate assessment, approval and assurance across multiple platforms
Facilitate CAB forums and change planning activities
Partner with engineering and delivery teams to embed resilience by design
Use data and insights to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
Support maturity uplift of change practices across the organisation
Contribute to predictable, safe and well controlled technology change delivery
Nā tāu rourou | What you will bring
At least 5 years of experience in IT change management, service operations or an ITSM related role
Strong understanding of change governance, risk assessment and control practices
Experience working with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or equivalent
Good knowledge of Agile, DevOps and automated delivery pipelines
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, insights and reporting
Experience facilitating CAB forums, readiness reviews and engagement with technical teams
Proven ability to build strong relationships with delivery teams, technical specialists and senior stakeholders
Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to provide guidance, challenge and support where needed
A proactive and detail focused approach, with a commitment to resilience, quality and safe delivery of technology change
