IT Business Relationship Manager

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire an IT Business Relationship Manager. Reporting to the Manager of IT Business Relationship Management, will develop and maintain strong firm relationships and serve as the client interface to formulate business needs and translate them to justified concept projects and hold an end-to-end oversight role on the projects and own the domain specific IT roadmap.

This position will reside in our Philadelphia office with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build strong working partnerships as the trusted advisor representing IT with the business, provides inputs and business perspective into IT strategy and architecture development.
  • Facilitate deep‑dive discovery sessions with stakeholders to uncover implicit workflows, undocumented processes, operational risks, and unmet needs.
  • Analyze business requirements to develop the business case for qualification, proposal, and prioritization.
  • Prioritize projects and own the domain-specific IT roadmap, leading and guiding business partners in the analysis, selection and implementation of technology and services.
  • Lead stakeholder business planning and strategy meetings and reports on  project progress.
  • Act as point of escalation for issue resolution and communication of changing requirements.
  • Lead adoption and governance of SharePoint Online, including site architecture, metadata design, permissions models, and lifecycle management.
  • Design and deliver Power Apps solutions (Canvas and Model-driven), automating business workflows using Power Automate.
  • Prototype or build interim solutions where appropriate, ensuring the business can operate effectively while long-term solutions are evaluated or developed.
  • Document, monitor, maintain, and optimize processes and automated workflows for reliability and scalability.
  • This role may directly or indirectly supervise non-supervisory employees as directed by the manager of Program Management.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Education equivalent to BA, BS Degree or the equivalent in related work experience (Project Management, Business Analysis, Business Process Management etc.).
  • Five or more years of IT experience, including at least 3 years of business analysis and/or project management experience.
  • Preferred: Microsoft Power Platform Certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400), Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, ITIL, PMP, CSM and Agile-related certifications.
  • Effective project management and critical thinking skills.
  • Background in software development including coding, quality assurance, business requirements/process analysis, and technical design.
  • Experience performing business discovery, mapping end‑to‑end processes, and identifying gaps between current and desired states.
  • Collaboration skills working with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, drawing out details needed for effective solution design.
  • Direct experience designing, building, and maintaining SharePoint Online solutions.
  • Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., low-code/no-code tools, RPA solutions).
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Teams integration.
  • Additional technical skills:
  • .Net, SQL
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Microsoft Project
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
