With a diverse portfolio of businesses and a strong focus on digital transformation, we are driving innovation, operational excellence, and standardisation across all sites. As we continue to modernise our technology landscape, we are looking for an experienced IT Business Partner to join our Group IT function and support our Water Management Division.

This is a unique hybrid role that blends strategic partnership, project and portfolio management, and business analysis. You will act as the primary interface between Group IT and the business unit; supporting leaders, shaping demand, aligning priorities, and ensuring Group-wide IT strategies and standards are adopted locally.

You’ll work closely with the Group IT Director and the business unit’s Managing Director, guiding the unit through digital change and enabling efficient, secure, and consistent use of Group-approved systems and platforms.

What we're looking for

At Genuit Group we are looking for an individual who is a relationship-driven IT professional who thrives in a matrixed environment and can influence without direct authority. You understand how to translate business needs into structured IT requirements and can navigate formal governance frameworks with confidence.

To ensure clarity, this role does not involve independent procurement or vendor selection, software configuration or development or direct vendor engagement outside approved Group IT channel.

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience as a PMO Lead, Senior Project Manager, or Business Analyst.

  • Background working in federated, complex, or multi‑site organisations.

  • Proven success supporting or representing a business unit within a central IT model.

  • Strong experience developing business cases and managing formal change processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to embed standardised processes in geographically diverse teams.

  • Solid understanding of change management principles.

  • Willingness to travel across multiple UK sites.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within an ERP (e.g., SAP) environment.

  • Experience in an acquisitive organisation.

Core Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to influence at all levels, without direct authority.

  • Strong planning, organisational, and governance skills.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Skilled at turning business needs into structured IT requirements.

  • Comfortable working within formal IT frameworks and standards.

What we offer at Genuit Group

  • Competitive salary and benefits package

  • A chance to shape digital strategy within a leading UK manufacturing group

  • A collaborative, supportive working culture

  • Exposure to transformation programmes across the Group

Here at the Genuit Group we recognise and develop the contribution our people make to the Group’s success and are committed to attracting talent from the widest pool. We have a role to play in making the built environment more sustainable, building a low carbon business ourselves as well as delivering sustainable solutions at scale.
