Position Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of IT Business Partner within our Civil Digital and IT Team.

As an excellent communicator you will build and maintain strong relationships across Civil Aerospace and Digital & IT to help deliver business outcomes. The role will partner across multiple stakeholders and work with IT Delivery teams to drive improvement for your assigned portfolio within Civil Aerospace. A perfect chance to enter a Business Partnering role, you will have a blend of delivery accountability as well as the ability to pursue your ideas to improve employee experience.

What you will be doing:

As a leader, you will be expected to bring your experience and ideas to help drive improvement agendas and coordinate a range of initiatives – with the support provided for you to be at your best. Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Lead the Digital & IT engagement in assigned areas and manage key stakeholder relationships.
  • Help build and lead business case development with your stakeholders
  • Be the key interface and orchestrator on behalf of Civil Aerospace for IT improvement initiatives
  • Initiate and manage key technology change initiatives that improve our colleague experience
  • Project Manage improvement initiatives and drive business change
  • Partner to understand business challenges, priorities and desired outcomes.
  • Communicate the status of Digital & IT delivery assuring the delivery of key business outcomes.
  • Support the VP of IT & Digital (as required) in tactical challenges across their portfolios

Position Qualifications:

  • Customer excellence including strong communicating & influencing skills.
  • Passionate about driving business change and adoption
  • Ability to deal with a variety of challenges and flexibility in supporting different parts of our business
  • Experience of working with business leaders on solving business problems.
  • Strong proven relationship & stakeholder management.
  • Experience of working in Innovation, Project Management, Business Analysis, Service Management, Training or Change Management is advantageous
  • Experience in working within Civil Value Streams (or Engine Programmes) is advantageous
  • Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP) Certificates would be beneficial

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience of working in Innovation, Project Management, Business Analysis, Service Management, Training or Change Management is advantageous
