As we continue to modernise our technology landscape, we are looking for an experienced IT Business Partner to join our Group IT function and support our Climate Management Solutions business unit.

As an IT Business Partner, you will act as the strategic interface between Group IT and the CMS business unit shaping demand, influencing decision-making, and ensuring digital initiatives are aligned with Group strategy.

A key part of the role includes executing a PMO function and enacting a true business partner role, acting as the central IT interface between the division and the Group function. You’ll also manage application development resources specifically for IoT products and services, ensuring they are delivered in line with Group frameworks, governance and architectural standards

At Genuit Group we are looking for an individual who is a relationship-driven IT professional who thrives in a matrixed environment and can influence without direct authority. You understand how to translate business needs into structured IT requirements and can navigate formal governance frameworks with confidence.

To ensure clarity, this role does not involve independent procurement or vendor selection, software configuration or development or direct vendor engagement outside approved Group IT channel.

Essential Experience

  • Serve as the primary IT liaison between Group IT and the CMS business unit.

  • Execute local PMO oversight, ensuring projects follow Group IT standards and reporting.

  • Lead and coordinate IT-enabled change across the division.

  • Manage application development resources supporting IoT product and service development.

  • Drive adoption of Group-approved platforms (e.g., SAP, Workday) and digital standards.

  • Support business cases, change requests and requirements gathering.

  • Ensure compliance with Group governance, security, data management and procurement processes.

  • Prevent non‑standard, duplicate or non‑compliant solutions from being introduced locally

  • Solid understanding of change management principles.

  • Willingness to travel across multiple UK sites.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within an ERP (e.g., SAP) environment.

  • Experience in an acquisitive organisation.

Core Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to influence at all levels, without direct authority.

  • Strong planning, organisational, and governance skills.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Skilled at turning business needs into structured IT requirements.

  • Ability to manage or coordinate technical resources (including IoT development teams)

  • Comfortable working within formal IT frameworks and standards.

What we offer at Genuit Group

  • Competitive salary and benefits package

  • A chance to shape digital strategy within a leading UK manufacturing group

  • A collaborative, supportive working culture

  • Exposure to transformation programmes across the Group

Here at the Genuit Group we recognise and develop the contribution our people make to the Group’s success and are committed to attracting talent from the widest pool. We have a role to play in making the built environment more sustainable, building a low carbon business ourselves as well as delivering sustainable solutions at scale.
