IT Business Consultant – SAP Integrated Business Planning

Are you ready to become a vital part of Nilfisk’s ambitious digital transformation within SAP Integrated Business Planning? We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to our transition from APO to IBP, shaping the future business solution for a key cornerstone of our supply chain operations. This position is based in our Budapest HUB and is part of the global ERP and Finance Services team within IT & Digital. Our team is dedicated to supporting, maintaining, and advancing strategic, business-critical IT systems, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction for our business stakeholders.

Our ERP programme is central to this effort, aiming to consolidate twelve legacy ERP systems into a unified, future-proof platform built on SAP S/4HANA, complemented by a robust second-tier ERP solution. This transformation will empower our global operations across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and customer service, fostering agility, facilitating data-driven decision-making, and driving operational excellence.

Your Mission

As an IT Business Consultant, you will be responsible for facilitating the implementation and support of the IBP module. Your focus will be on enhancing business functionality and overall performance while ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Together with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, you will deliver value adding recommendations, solutions and facilitate continuous process optimization.

You will be part of a dynamic and diverse team of IT Business Consultants, specialising in various SAP functionalities, with most team members located in Hungary.

Primary Areas of Responsibility

  • Supporting and developing SAP Integrated Business Planning  

  • Participating in the SAP S/4HANA transformation program and second-tier ERP rollout

  • Facilitating the development of User Requirements Specifications

  • Proactively identifying and proposing business process or application enhancements

  • Acting as the liaison between business units and the development team

  • Facilitating workshops

  • Planning and executing tests

  • Managing configuration

  • Conducting fit/gap analysis

  • Developing documentation, including Design Specification, Business Blueprint, and Functional Specification

What we are looking for:

  • Proven understanding of SAP Integrated Business Planning module

  • Understanding of IBP Integration (CI/RTI) with ECC/HANA and other external systems (Salesforce..eg)

  • Demonstrated understanding of dependencies and implications across other SAP modules

  • Knowledge of Planning and Supply Chain business processes

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • A growth mindset, collaborative approach, and passion for delivering business value
