Summary:

Important Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Support SAP and other ERP systems, ensuring flawless integration and functionality.
  • Apply Power BI and Fiori reporting tools to deliver insightful data analytics.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for both functional and non-functional processes.
  • Apply industry-standard methodologies like Lean Six-Sigma to improve manufacturing and supply chain processes.
  • Resolve user-related assistance calls through the Service Desk function.
  • Prepare and implement test plans for new functionalities and communicate updates effectively.
  • Translate user requirements into program specifications, collaborating with developers to ensure compliance.
  • Craft training resources and aid business endeavors with your project management knowledge.
  • Maintain strict compliance with Thermo Fisher Security directives and IT policies.
  • Travel may be required, ranging from 25%-50%.
  • Capture and critically evaluate user requirements to develop effective solutions.
  • Perform sophisticated analytics on data sets and conduct process impact analysis.
  • Communicate and work with collaborators to analyze needs and establish a technical vision.
  • Serve as a liaison between the user community and development teams, ensuring smooth flow of requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and GROK, as well as reporting tools such as Fiori, Databricks, and Golden Gate.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Materials Management and Production Planning with S/4 experience.
  • A 4-year degree or equivalent experience, with relevant technical certifications being a plus.
  • 2-5 years of business experience in Materials Management/Production Planning and 2-3 years of SAP experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills.
  • Ability to independently manage and complete assignments.
  • Strong analytical and product management skills.
  • Showcased proficiency in project management.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, especially within diverse groups.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, interpret, and write documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Detailed task documentation and Helpdesk request handling.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, and dimensions.
  • Basic understanding of accounting concepts.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Solve practical problems and manage variables with limited standardization.
  • Interpret written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions.

Physical Demands:

  • Reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
  • Regular sitting, typing, and communication. Frequent standing and walking.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate office noise.
