The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in Asia Technology team, leading initiatives to enhance and modernize the Hong Kong Retirement systems that support our pension business. This role involves gathering & analyzing business requirements and partnering with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver system enhancements or new features, building a modern, feature‑rich platform that meets the changing needs of our customers and strengthens our overall servicing landscape.
Position Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility and support business leads for the collection, analysis, validation, and documentation of business users’ or stakeholder’s business needs and requirements.
- Work closely with delivery stakeholders to deliver system solutions that cover solution design, system implementation and Quality Assurance.
- Accountable for effective change management within projects that is ensuring change to business requirements are effectively managed to ensure minimal impact to projects.
- Provide operational support on user enquiry, analysis services and production problem diagnostic.
- Assist business leads in defining short and long term needs to determine business priorities and advise on options.
- Resolve conflicts and remove barriers within and across teams.
- Strong communicator who can negotiate effectively with business to clarify needs vs. wants/likes in order to balance business direction/requirements with cost of development and risk
- Has a natural ability to breakdown, decompose and describe business needs into Stories supporting an iterative and incremental delivery model
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in written form to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree holder in information systems, business administration or related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experiences business analysis, ideally in pensions, pensions or financial services
- Familiarity with MPF regulations and experience in Mandatory Provident Funds application development is a strong advantage
- Well organized and attentive to details, flexible with working hours
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, and disciplined with project scheduling
- Self-initiated and have a strong drive to learn
- Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel and good understanding of SQL
- Good understanding in SQL and experience in APIs
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira and Confluence is essential
- Able to clearly articulate business processes and ideas verbally and in written English
- Experience and knowledge in complicate testing execution and support
- Experience in leading junior team members and groom them to work independently
