Labcorp is seeking an IT Business Analyst for a team in Burlington or Durham, NC.
Work Schedule: This is a full‑time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in your local time zone. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.
Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
Responsibilities:
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Strong analytical and organizational skills (required)
Communicates clearly and effectively; written and verbal
Experience supporting Agile Scrum and Waterfall led projects
Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal / external customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development and support teams through which requirements progress.
Develop requirements specifications according to and using the defined requirement process and tools, required by Analyst SOP and project guidelines: Top Team Analyst, JIRA, Confluence
Deliver functional, non-functional requirements, use cases, user stories, and user interface designs.
Generate current and future state process flow, and data flow diagrams
Generate software screen mock-up and prototypes
