Salary: A competitive salary from £36,400 - £54,600 depending on the experience you can bring

As an IT Auditor you will be a key contributor towards the delivery of the annual audit plan which provides the basis for a systematic, risk-based approach to evaluating and improving corporate governance, risk management and internal controls within Aegon.
This role will give you the opportunity to assess the effectiveness of global strategies with exposure across both UK and global business units. You’ll be providing the skills and insight to understand the quality and effectiveness of the Aegon control framework in an independent and objective way, reporting information to key stakeholders and governance forums.
You will also contribute to the successful delivery of Technology audit services in line with professional, company and functional standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
Supporting the planning, fieldwork and reporting of audit engagements, including identifying and evaluating IT risks and controls, and their impact on the wider business.
Supporting the Senior Auditor and Audit Manager with stakeholder engagement across IT and Change.
Supporting the audit function in the development of strategies, standards and procedures, including the development of repeatable themed work programs for IT and Change.
Actively contributing to the definition, delivery and embedding of global audit strategies and initiatives, such as use of data analytics and adoption of AI.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Internal or External Auditing Expertise.
Experience of risk management or control testing.
Experience of working with technology or change related frameworks and processes e.g. in an IT delivery or project role.
The ability to understand and analyse data. Experience of using Service Now and OneSum X
Balanced relationship Management skills – Ability to Influence, persuade and negotiate.
