What you will do:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Application Support Specialist to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of critical business applications. This role is key to maintaining reliable, compliant, and high-quality application support across all software systems, enabling seamless business processes and exceptional customer experiences. Your day-to-day:

  • Provide effective application support for local business applications in production and test environments.

  • Manage and resolve incidents and problems using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).

  • Perform data validation, job and log checks in Microsoft SQL Server; write basic SQL queries when needed.

  • Collaborate with users to optimize technology usage and improve customer service.

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, security, and audit practices.

  • Monitor application performance and proactively identify improvement opportunities.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in projects impacting core business systems.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek and English.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); advanced Excel skills (filters, formulas, pivots) are considered a plus.

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and ability to write basic SQL commands.

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in application support within regulated environments.

  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow – Incident, Problem).

  • Awareness of GDPR and security/audit practices.

  • At least 2 years of experience in the Insurance or Banking services industry is considered an asset.
