What you will do:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Application Support Specialist to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of critical business applications. This role is key to maintaining reliable, compliant, and high-quality application support across all software systems, enabling seamless business processes and exceptional customer experiences. Your day-to-day:
Provide effective application support for local business applications in production and test environments.
Manage and resolve incidents and problems using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
Perform data validation, job and log checks in Microsoft SQL Server; write basic SQL queries when needed.
Collaborate with users to optimize technology usage and improve customer service.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, security, and audit practices.
Monitor application performance and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in projects impacting core business systems.
Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek and English.
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); advanced Excel skills (filters, formulas, pivots) are considered a plus.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and ability to write basic SQL commands.
Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in application support within regulated environments.
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow – Incident, Problem).
Awareness of GDPR and security/audit practices.
At least 2 years of experience in the Insurance or Banking services industry is considered an asset.
