Job Description Summary:

As an IT AI Platform Engineer (Enterprise AI & Agents) in the End User Experience Team at Rocket Software, you are part of a global, fast-paced IT organisation with a primary mission to provide world-class service to Rocketeers, ensuring they can perform at the highest level.

The primary focus of the IT AI Platform Engineer role is to help us build, deploy, and scale our enterprise AI capability. This role is responsible for driving the adoption of our AI tools by creating agents and workflows that connect users to answers, systems, and solutions faster than ever before.

You will work closely with IT, Security, and business teams to turn real problems into practical AI‑powered solutions, while ensuring our AI platform is secure, reliable, and delivering measurable value.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build & Deploy AI Agents

    • Design, build, and maintain AI agents that support real business workflows

    • Connect agents to enterprise systems, data sources, and tools (e.g. Microsoft 365, knowledge bases, ticketing systems, APIs)

    • Create prompt logic, tools, and guardrails to ensure agents are accurate, helpful, and safe

  • Drive Adoption & Business Value

    • Partner with business teams to identify high‑value use cases for AI

    • Turn user needs into working AI solutions quickly

    • Measure adoption, effectiveness, and outcomes of AI agents and workflows

    • Continuously improving solutions based on feedback and usage data

    • As a trusted subject matter expert, mentor members of the team

  • Platform Management & Operations

    • Manage the lifecycle of AI agents (build, deploy, monitor, enhance, retire)

    • Ensure platform reliability, performance, and cost‑effectiveness

    • Monitor usage, performance, and issues, and respond as needed

    • Contribute to standards, patterns, and best practices for enterprise AI

    • Maintain a catalogue of agents that includes, but not limited to documentation, including and not limited to an overview of the agent, its purpose, how it’s engaged, technical schematics, and configurations to ensure a proper record of system design and recovery purposes

  • Governance, Security & Risk

    • Work closely with IT Security, Legal, and Compliance teams

    • Ensure AI solutions follow internal policies and responsible AI principles

    • Help define guardrails around data access, prompts, and outputs

  • Required Qualifications

    • Three (3) or more years’ experience building or operating AI‑powered applications, agents, or automations, ideally within the Moveworks platform

    • Strong understanding of generative and agentic AI, including a strong comprehension of how large language models are used in practical, enterprise settings

      ·      

    • Experience integrating systems via APIs or connectors

      ·      

    • Experience of working within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) or similar process that ensures consistency and quality

      ·      

    • Comfortable working across IT, Security, and business teams

      ·      

    • Strong business acumen that helps identify business challenges and translate them into IT solutions

      ·      

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a proven track record of contributing to complex projects with aggressive timelines.

      ·      

    • Ability to troubleshoot incidents and conduct system analysis with minimal direction.

      ·      

    • Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, along with proficiency in developing and troubleshooting PowerApps and Flow.

    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, who can explain complex AI concepts in simple, easy-to-understand language.

      ·      

    • Good interpersonal skills with a strong focus on listening and questioning to derive the best solutions.

  • Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, or similar enterprise platforms

    • Familiarity with prompt engineering, agent frameworks, or orchestration tools

    • Experience with automation, workflow tools, or service management platforms

  • Education

    • Degree preferred

    • Exposure to AI governance, data protection, or risk management
