About the role

The ISIT Principal, Delivery Management – Corporate Services  is responsible for leading the successful delivery of technology solutions that support Finance, Human Resources, and Legal/Compliance objectives and drive operational efficiency at Primient. This role ensures that technology projects are executed effectively and efficiently, aligning business needs with IT capabilities, and serves as a strategic partner and subject matter expert across key functional areas. The Principal, Delivery Management plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.  Leading the skilled resources in SAP FICO and Workday (HR & Finance) modules.  Plus, additional finance and costing applications that include Treasury, Consolidations, and Analytics, thus  ensuring value-driven outcomes through disciplined planning, execution, and governance.

More specifically, you will:

  • Own and Advance the IT Solution Portfolio: Drive execution across multiple projects, to ensure alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Serve as a Strategic Partner and Subject Matter Expert: Advise on business processes solution design and system capabilities to maximize value. Systems expertise in SAP FICO, Workday (HR & Finance), Treasury systems.
  • Manage Cross-Functional Project Teams: Coordinate efforts across business stakeholders, IT staff, and external vendors to ensure successful implementation.
  • Oversee Planning and Governance: Own and direct detailed roadmap and control delivery plans, timelines, and resource allocations to support successful execution, ensuring proper governance, documentation, and adherence to delivery frameworks.
  • Engage and Align Stakeholders: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, senior leadership and vendors providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues to maintain momentum.
  • Identify and Shape Transformation Initiatives: Partner with affiliates and global process owners to surface potential opportunities, contributing to the overall IT transformation strategy.
  • Own Portfolio Financials: Lead financial tracking and forecasting for delivery portfolios, including budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure Quality Through Testing and Validation: Oversee test planning, execution, and validation activities to ensure solutions meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Manage Change Control: Ensure solution changes are well-documented, reviewed and communicated effectively.
  • Develop People and Teams: Provide leadership and mentoring across teams, fostering accountability, collaboration and growth across IT and business-facing teams.

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Management or related field (required)

Work Experience

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience (required)
  • 5+ years of Functional experience (required)
  • Excellent technical and functional understanding of SAP and Workday, supported by solid experience in solution development and operational support, particularly within complex Financial Systems environments.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of SAP FICO, with a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, cross-functional integration points, data flows, and system dependencies.
  • Expert-level knowledge and extensive experience across Finance and Costing applications, including Treasury, Consolidations, and Reporting solutions.
  • Strong experience leading a Workday Product team, driving a unified support and governance framework that aligns IT, HR, and Finance functions to ensure consistent, efficient, and well-governed service delivery.
  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of Workday Finance modules, including Consolidations and Account Reconciliations, as well as expertise in Adaptive Planning.
  • Experienced in managing Workday platform ownership, effectively leveraging Workday’s Customer Success resources, Feature Adoption programs, case management, tenant strategy, and training to maximize platform value and organizational readiness.
  • 5+ years in project or delivery management roles (required)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, including business, developers, analysts, testers, and business stakeholders (required)
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, risks, and resource planning for mid- to large-scale projects (required)

Location:

This role is to be based on our Schaumburg office with occasional travel into the respective plant facility offices for meetings.

Total Rewards

The annual pay range estimated for this position is $129,845.60 - $162,307.00 and is bonus eligible.

Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.
