Irrigation Coordinator

Provide Interment Services administrative support logging, addressing, and communicating on a variety of cemetery issues and customer complaints. Immediately responds to on-site customer issues.

Essential Job Functions:  Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Responds to customer service interment or grave maintenance issues, researches issues, resolves routine issues, reviews non-routine issues with management, initiates resolution, and statuses customer family member of resolution and timing.  Verifies resolution was implemented prior to deadline.  Tracks issues, resolutions, and turn-a-round time; develops scorecard type metrics; may make process improvement recommendations to management, updates management on trends; alerts management to high risk issues.
  • Pro-actively review HMIS Case Notes, review property owner information and grave locations, and update HMIS
  • Handle Irrigation radio calls for department support. Attend to other departments via radio requests
  • Daily take attendance and enter time-off and over-time in Time Reporting System.  Ensure overtime is pre-approved by management.  Run attendance balance and time-off reports and provide to management.
  • Assign the daily duties of the Landscape Irrigation Department staff based on assignment and competency
  • Support the Cemetery Administration team within Interment Services, Facilities and Marker Repairs as needed
  • Additional cemetery administrative support responsibilities as requested.

                                                                                   

Minimum Requirements:  Expected to have a strong working knowledge and practical skills in all areas of the interment operation. 

  • Accurate mathematical skills. 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including excel pivot tables, data manipulation, charts, and similar functionality.  Efficiently track training and key performance measurements in appropriate software.  Run various data reports. 
  • Exhibit clear oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to correctly read and use cemetery map books.
  • Knowledge of Rose Hills Park Rules and Regulations.
  • Requires a valid California Driver’s License.
  • Spanish speaking preferred

Compensation:

$22.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
