As an IRB Program Administrator, you will use your clinical research and regulatory experience to assist IRB leadership in achieving goals related to human subject protections. In this role, you will ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, guidelines, ethical principles, and accreditation standards.
A caregiver in this position works a hybrid schedule from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with 3–4 days per week on-site at Main Campus.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Utilize clinical research and regulatory experience to assist IRB leadership to meet goals involving human subject protections.
Analyze and screens research submissions.
Identify problems and issues, collect additional information and suggest edits/comments to documents.
Communicate and provide information and guidance to investigators and study team members.
Perform or assist with the expedited review process, review unanticipated problems and other questions, concerns or complaints involving research.
Communicate proactively with the IRB management team and assist within the team as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s Degree and five years of experience with clinical research programs and/or human subject protections
OR Master’s degree and three years of experience with clinical research programs and/or human subject protections
OR High School/GED and an additional four years (9 total) of experience with clinical research programs and/or human subject protections
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Master's Degree in Nursing, Bioethics or a related scientific field
Professional licensure or certification in a clinical specialty
Regulatory Clinical Trials Experience
Physical Requirements:
Requires normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.
Frequent bending, standing and walking; and manual dexterity to operate computer required.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
