The Alpha Specialist is directly responsible to lead and manage the Alpha team (press operators) from technical side, to plan, execute, and summarize the Alpha test by validating SW & HW changes while simulating customer environment, providing technical findings to R&D frequently.

Description:

As part of the Indigo Qualification Center, Alpha specialist will be responsible for all SF series 4 and series 5 presses (currently 4) in the iQC lab (from technical aspect). Performing complex presses troubleshooting - working with wiring diagrams, fixing HW issues, replacing Spare Parts and deal with all PQ defects troubleshooting. 

The specialist will work closely with the Test Leader and test technicians to ensure daily routines, bugs verifications, lead investigations & accurate reporting.

Also, to support HP Indigo customers around the world in Ramp ups, Production supports, Training and Knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities:

  • Full technical responsibility over IQC SF presses
  • Collaboration with relevant functions: QA, R&D, Service
    • Communicate daily report with all technical findings
    • Bugs investigation close loop with R&D & QA
  • Lead Alpha team in technical aspects
    • Support all team members in troubleshooting process
    • Communicate test findings to Test Leader
    • Ensure test technicians’ delivery during the shifts (bug reporting)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • High technical understanding and experience in indigo Ser 4 presses.
  • Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Using empirical analysis, modelling, and testing methodologies to validate product performances and specifications.
  • Excellent English – write, read, and speak
  • Team player.
  • Willingness to support customer around the world.
