- Should have relevant work experience in Functional Validation (Post -SI Validation or Pre-Si Emulation).
- Understands code development , test plan creation on the basis of understanding of architecture specifications.
- Has a know-how of platform bringup, basic triages, debug strategies and has experience with waveforms, trackers and logs to report failure or pass of test content.
- Develops infrastructure and automation methodologies for efficient execution. Proficient in quality execution, reporting results and should be able to drive debugs to closure independently .
- Knows basics of IA/ARM core and system level power management architecture, reset flow and boot flow.
- Performs as a team player and knows how to work with multiple stakeholders and should have good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Poses good analytical skills for reporting and resolving issue, understand gaps and has good coding skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or Master's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering with 6-10 yrs of experience.
- Should have relevant work 6-10 years of experience in Functional Validation and Platform Validation (Post -SI Validation or Pre-Si Emulation) and system debug, IP debug.
- Working experience in pre silicon environment i.e fpga/zebu or emulation.
- Hands-on experience on High Speed IO (PCIE) on Post-Si or Zebu Emulators. (Virtualization, GuestVM are add-ons)
- Must have coding skillset on any of scripting languages (Python is preferred) or on C/C++.
- Tools : Lauterbach, FW programmers, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzer.
- Good to have python, PCIe, memory, OS understanding in linux.
