Join our collaborative Equities team as a Trainee and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client experiences. As a key partner to Client Portfolio Managers (CPMs) and the wider Distribution team, you’ll transform complex portfolio activity and market insights into clear, compelling materials that resonate with clients.
You’ll collaborate across multiple functions including RFP, Performance, Risk, Presentations, Marketing, Operations, and Compliance to ensure seamless, timely delivery of information. Your work will help drive disciplined reporting, insightful analysis, and impactful investment communication; all aimed at sustaining outstanding client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare insightful fund commentaries and ensure presentations are accurate and high quality.
Work closely with teams across Distribution, RFP, Performance, Risk, Marketing, Operations, and Compliance to guide workflows and keep deliverables moving seamlessly.
Analyse portfolios by reviewing holdings and exposures, rationalizing trading activity, and monitoring performance trends.
Support Client Portfolio Managers by assisting with meeting preparation and responding to client queries with accuracy and clarity.
Research market trends, economic indicators, and thematic views to provide valuable perspectives on regions and asset classes.
Transform complex investment concepts into clear, impactful insights for the Distribution team, including market updates and thought leadership.
Maintain oversight documentation such reports and board commentaries to ensure portfolios remain aligned with mandates and regulatory requirements.
Sharpen presentation skills through training focused on narrative, audience engagement, delivery, and Q&A, helping you communicate with impact.
