On the Investment & Capital Markets (I&CM) Third Party Risk Management team, we partner with I&CM Third Party Relationship Managers and Officers to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with third-party engagements.
This position will support 1st line of defense (1LOD) third party risk management activities for the Investments & Capital Markets (I&CM) division, including trading, back office, technology and modeling functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing their subject matter knowledge in and performing I&CM’s third party risk oversight 1LOD strategy and framework.
Identifying, monitoring and managing risks associated with I&CM third parties
Responsible for completion of periodic risk assessments of existing I&CM third parties, as well as the onboarding and evaluation of new I&CM third parties, in collaboration with I&CM Relationship Managers and other partners
Facilitating timely remediation of gaps and issues related to I&CM third party risk management
Developing, reporting and monitoring KRIs and critical metrics related to I&CM third party risk management and oversight
Updating and maintaining documentation (including procedures and inventories) in support of I&CM third party risk management
Contributing to the continuous improvement of I&CM's third party risk management process
Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external third parties to promote consistent and effective application of third party risk management practices
Utilizing risk management and AI tools and systems to support execution of third party risk management activities
Manage the end-to-end process for processing contingent workers within I&CM, ensuring Corporate Policy/Standard compliance, efficient onboarding, and budget approvals
0-2 years of related professional experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of third party risk management
Experience assessing operational risk and internal control environments
Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple assignments
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to develop effective partnerships across the firm
Knowledge of secondary mortgage market and Freddie Mac's business a plus
Highly motivated and upbeat self-starter with a proactive mindset! with strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to operate at high standards of quality and accuracy within a fast-paced changing environment, including the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently
Demonstrate strong analytical skills to assess and monitor third-party risks, including operational, reputational, and legal & compliance risks.
Excellent verbal written communication skills
Exhibit attention to detail when completing third party risk management work products

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $62,000 - $94,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
