- Regulatory Monitoring: You oversee and assess compliance with supervisory requirements (MiFID, MAR, and other local regulations). You continually review our investment services—from investment advisory to portfolio management—for legal conformity and internal guidelines. Additionally, you check marketing materials for regulatory compliance.
- Suitability & Appropriateness: You assess whether financial products and services match the risk profile and classification of our clients. You document profiles and ensure that target market criteria are met.
- Compliance Reporting: You prepare reports and presentations on compliance findings and risks for management. You also support informed decision-making with recommendations and strengthen our control environment.
- Policy & Project Work: You develop and implement compliance policies and minimum standards. You also contribute your expertise to cross-departmental projects and regulatory initiatives.
Requirements
- Education: Completed banking apprenticeship with relevant professional experience and/or a university degree in law, business administration, or a comparable field. Additional qualifications in compliance, risk management, or financial regulation are an advantage.
- Experience: Practical experience in compliance, regulation, or risk management within the financial industry, ideally with exposure to relevant financial regulations (e.g., MiFID).
- Skills: In-depth expertise in investment compliance, especially in monitoring activities in investment advisory and portfolio management.
- Technical expertise: Strong understanding of financial products, investment processes, and compliance systems. Experience with compliance tools, data analysis software, and MS Office.
- Languages: Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
