Key responsibilities and contributions

  • Support end‑to‑end investment trade processing, including matching, settlement, and corporate actions

  • Assist with cash release, withdrawals, and daily funding activities

  • Perform portfolio reconciliations with custodians, fund managers, and internal systems (e.g. Bloomberg)

  • Support daily cash and foreign currency operations

  • Participate in system testing (UAT) and ad‑hoc operational projects

Learning and development areas

  • Investment operations and trade lifecycle management

  • Financial data analysis and reconciliation

  • Exposure to investment platforms (Bloomberg AIM, order management systems)

  • Stakeholder communication and coordination

  • Problem‑solving and prioritisation skills

Ideal qualification and attributes

  • Degree student in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

  • Strong interest in financial markets and investments

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Python / Power Query is a plus)

  • Detail‑oriented and organised

  • Able to work well in a fast‑paced team environment
