Summary:

The Investigational Drug Regulatory Specialist I is a specialized, advanced role for certified pharmacy technicians. The Investigational Drug Regulatory Specialist supports the Investigational Drug Service Specialist in the planning and implementation of clinical research studies.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Three years of pharmacy technician experience

  • Hospital and/or pediatric preferred

  • Basic knowledge of math and the metric system 

  • Attentive to detail with excellent organization skills

  • Excellent written, oral & team communication skills

  • Intermediate knowledge of Outlook and schedule management

  • Basic Medical Terminology required 

  • Competency in basic computer skills required (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)

Licensure/Certification:

  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)

  • Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration

  • ACPE IV Certification
