Job Details

As an Inventory Operative, you’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of stock held within Alloga UK. You’ll ensure inventory accuracy, champion continuous improvement, and support compliance with MHRA, GDP, and internal company standards.

Your work will directly contribute to smooth operations, satisfied clients, and the high standards Alloga is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in line with Health & Safety policies

  • Report all accidents and near misses immediately

  • Operate only the equipment you are fully trained on

  • Report any damages or defects to your Supervisor

  • Maintain professional appearance and follow uniform guidelines

  • Uphold MHRA and GDP standards, including excellent housekeeping

  • Promote continuous improvement

  • Suggest process enhancements wherever possible

  • Complete daily inventory validation tasks and minimise potential stock losses

  • Make WMS stock adjustments in line with guidelines

  • Record and report all errors to relevant departments

  • Work closely with Finance and Customer Care on stock-related issues

  • Investigate and resolve queries or complaints methodically

  • Provide professional, timely responses to clients and customers

  • Carry out stock takes as required

  • Create and maintain WMS locations

  • Carry out reasonable tasks as requested by management

  • Follow all SOPs and training manuals to remain compliant with GDP/GMP/ISO requirements

Work Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or similar operational environment.

  • Strong understanding of GDP.

  • Good knowledge of company policies and procedures.

  • Ability to complete all relevant SOP training within 3 months.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Team‑oriented with good understanding of wider Alloga UK functions.

  • Strong analytical ability.
