The Inventory Lead is responsible for the governance, analytics, and reporting of inventory performance across all value streams at the Vacaville site. This role exists to ensure inventory levels, targets, and outlooks are effectively monitored, governed, and communicated in alignment with financial, Supply Chain, and business objectives, without direct ownership of inventory execution teams or processes. The position defines and supports actions that directly and indirectly impact Finished Goods, Work In Process, and Raw Materials through standardized reporting, analysis, and governance forums.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain full‑year and monthly inventory projections across Finished Goods, Raw Materials, Work In Process, and other inventory categories, aligned with financial targets.

  • Own site‑level inventory reporting by delivering accurate, timely monthly performance reporting, outlooks, and delta analysis in accordance with finance and accounting requirements.

  • Monitor inventory performance against targets, identifying risks, trends, and deviations, and initiating actions to close gaps through structured, cross‑functional analysis.

  • Ensure inventory governance by facilitating inventory reviews, supporting working teams, and overseeing action tracking and progress reporting.

  • Support and contribute to Supply Chain transformation initiatives and projects under the direction of the Head of Supply Chain Transformation by providing analytics, performance tracking, and governance input to enable informed decision‑making and successful execution.

  • Lead inventory performance monitoring activities, including overstock management and Slow Moving Obsolete Goods (SMOG) analysis, ensuring appropriate CAPAs are defined and addressed.

  • Ensure data integrity, system alignment, and automation effectiveness by validating master and transactional data in core systems (e.g., SAP) and enabling inventory planning, forecasting, and warehouse capacity decisions through scalable analytics and reporting.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Scientific or Business Areas of study or related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights that support decision-making and performance management.

  • Experience  developing  and  using  analytics,  dashboards,  and  automated  reporting  tools  to improve visibility, accuracy, and efficiencySAP  knowledge  with  a  solid  understanding  of  order  management,  MRP,  and  supply replenishment concepts.

  • Strong understanding of cGMP procedures and expectations within a regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Well-developed communication and diplomacy skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority; ability to act as a role model within the Supply Chain organization,demonstrating accountability, rigor, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables aligned to financial and operational timelines

  • Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
