First (Days)Overview:
Establishes and maintains supply PAR levels, conducts stock analysis for all warehouse and vendor direct purchases. Performs physical inventory, analyzes daily usage in comparison to levels and balance quantities with needs of the department. Monitors cleanliness and sterility of environment. Coordinates daily operations for supply maintenance and availability. Some departments may require equipment cleaning.

It is a 525-bed medical center, and home to the area's only Level I Trauma Center, Burn Trauma Unit and Nationally Ranked Heart Program. In addition to a first rate heart program, the hospital is home to Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and several dedicated facilities and specialized services. Sentara Norfolk General also serves as the primary teaching hospital for undergraduate and graduate education for the adjacent Eastern Virginia Medical School
