Primary Purpose
Responsible for cycle counting inventory of production components and analysis of results. Analysis should result in recommendations to improve processes, training and behaviors.
Primary Duties
Daily Cycle Counts.
Coordinate with receiving function to assure proper receipt of materials.
Conduct Inventory Reconciliation’s as needed.
Prepare production reports and assist with month-end inventories as required.
Process MDR’s and follow-up on obsolescence after co-coordinating phase outs with Milwaukee Production Control.
Maintain Battery Bill of Materials with current requirements.
Handle process changes from Milwaukee and distributes information to plant personnel.
Cross train in department to provide backup or additional support.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a computer-oriented environment
Able to become immediately certified to utilize a scissor lift to perform daily duties
Prior inventory or material analyst experience strongly preferred
Experience in manufacturing environment with progressing responsibilities preferred
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree
Must be self-directed in order to meet the requirements of the position.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong business writing skills required
Highly organized and deadline-driven with the ability to prioritize
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
