About The Opportunity
Under the direction of the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Control Clerk leads a group of employees to maintain an accurate inventory of materials in the facility by working directly with Receiving and Purchasing, verifying sufficient inventory for production using the inventory system, reconciling, and reporting to management.1. Lead a group of employees within the Inventory Department to safely and effectively perform all aspects of their jobs
2. Based upon information provided by the Plant Scheduler, Production Supervision and Project Managers, give work assignments to forklift drivers to ensure product for next day jobs are transported to staging locations and that orders are picked 48 hours in advance
3. Responsible for clearing of production lines and transporting product back into inventory
4. Maintain continuous and accurate cycle counting of the facility
5. Direct the cycle counters and forklift drivers in the cycle counting process on shift
6. Maintain monthly inventory of designated supplies, pallets, work-in-process product, and finished goods
7. Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory
8. Take ownership of inventory of stretch film, poly bags, shrinks, and any materials needed
9. Verify open stock and materials that are on order
10. Direct monthly product inventory, perform verifications, and keep spreadsheets up to date
11. Understand and utilize the 5S methodology
12. Prepare and participate in customer observations and physicals
13. Verify cases per pallet
14. Maintain location description map
15. Keep track of on-site trailers and their contents
16. Lead and train inventory coordinators’ duties
17. Control and support of rejects area
18. Reports and returns of rejects by customer
19. Prepare template cycle report
20. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

The expected salary range for this position is $22.50/hour. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short- and Long-term disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays.
