About This Role

                                                                                                         

In this role, the Inventory Clerk will be responsible for providing support to the Maintenance Department in handling the mechanical inventory used for aircraft maintenance. Take inventory of parts and maintain accurate records based on work orders, distribute parts in a timely manner. Receive and store parts, along with sending parts out for repairs. Repair small parts under the repair station certificate as delegated. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 
•    Receive and store parts in accordance with company procedures. Help keep parts room organized. 
•    Take inventory of parts and maintain accurate records based on work orders, distribute parts in a timely manner. 
•    Ship parts out that require repair. 
•    Repairing small aircraft parts as delegated by their manager. 
•    Ensure that parts are FAA/Parts Manufacturing Authorization (PMA).
•    Receive and store parts.
•    Issue tools and parts to mechanics
•    Update internal database accordingly.
•    Ensure compliance with hazardous materials regulations for shipping and receiving of goods.
•    Maintain parts room in compliance with appropriate guidelines.
•    Replenish inspection carts, hardware racks and liquid consumables.
•    Keep track of calibration and shelf life expiration.
•    Internal/External customer service oriented.
•    Assists with annual physical inventory and maintains a perpetual inventory bin-maintenance system.
•    And other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 
•    High school diploma. 
•    2 to 5 years of relevant experience. 
•    Strong sense of urgency.  
•    Able to multi-task and adapt to a fast paced and changing work environment.
•    Must be able to learn company software and systems.  
•    Effective organization and time management skills.  
•    Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.  
•    Oracle is a plus. 
•    Fluency in English. 

•   Aviation experience a plus.
