The levers through which you will make an impact:

The Inventory Analyst plays a key role in the strategic and operational alignment of the supply chain. Acting as a link between S&OP plans and their execution, the role supports the daily operations of distribution centers and represents the team in daily meetings. The Inventory Analyst is also responsible for analyzing and implementing inventory optimization strategies, particularly with regard to safety stock levels. This position requires strong analytical skills, operational leadership, and an excellent command of technological tools and inventory management systems.

  • Ensure the execution of S&OP plans and adjust team operations based on priorities (e.g., promotions, volumes, customers, etc.).

  • Work closely with the production planning team, distribution centers, customer service, and the demand planning team.

  • Support inventory coordinator teams in their daily challenges, provide coverage during replacements, and ensure their training.

  • Monitor and take action on current KPIs, such as projected inventory losses and service level.

  • Represent inventory coordinators in daily meetings and ensure clear and complete communication of strategic information to the team.

  • Be responsible for the overall analysis of the safety stock strategy and ensure its implementation across the different sites.

What will enable you to create value:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management or logistics required.

  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

  • Proficiency in inventory management systems, including SAP and Oracle is a strong asset

  • Excellent command of Excel, and Power BI for the analysis and monitoring of indicators.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues and clients in other Canadian provinces).
