We have a fantastic opportunity for an Inventory Accountant to join our team to provide support and business challenge predominantly relating to our non F1 & excluded inventory areas. This role is key in supporting the Finance team on their journey to becoming a World Class Finance function.
Key Accountabilities:
Detailed understanding of all costs associated with F1 inventory.
Month end close activities including computation of F1 inventory usage and manufacturing process in line with clear accounting policies
Internal reporting of statutory inventory positions
Providing accurate and timely month end data for the finance business partnering team
Liaising with cost analyst team to help optimise the system information and accuracy
Identify opportunities for process and systems improvements, working closely with the business transformation and ERP optimisation teams to successfully implement solutions
Interrogate and challenge the system data to enable the business to place reliance on the numbers
Accounting for relevant inventory provisions
Supporting in the overall inventory roadmap to success to deliver valuated stock within the SAP system
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Financial Professional (ACA/ACCA)
Experience and understanding of Finance concepts and fundamentals
In-depth knowledge and experience of inventory management within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Experience of analysing and interpreting large volumes of financial data
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation
Strong Interpersonal skills.
Ability to work accurately in a fast moving, performance-oriented environment and to be agile and flexible in approach.
Experience of SAP would be an advantage.
