Education required: Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Chemical Engineering
Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a full-time credit-bearing internship
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English
Internship period: July to December 2026

This role sits in our Jurong R&D Pilot Plant.
What will you do?
Technical application of fundamental engineering skills in the design of process equipment
Scoping equipment specifications and working with vendors to obtain best in class design for value
Going to site, observing plant operations and implementing engineering modifications to plant
Commissioning of equipment with engineers and plant technicians
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant productivity and safety
What will you learn?
Understanding of equipment capability. You will learn to differentiate various equipment/instruments, understand their specifications and how they are used for processes via the assigned projects
Understanding of Management of Change process via the Plant Modification Proposal. You will be involved in designing, executing and commissioning of modifications in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment
Process scales up understanding. Participation in batch record review & plant processing to gain hands on understanding of safety/quality aspect of introducing a process into a plant
What are we looking for?
Strong written and oral communications skills
Excellent English proficiency
A keen interest in production
Interest with going to manufacturing site, observing plant operations and implement engineering modifications to plant
Meticulous, organized, and dedicated
Apply his/her knowledge of engineering, data/computer sciences and analytics and learn soft skills in engaging different stake holders to deliver a project
