What you can look forward to
Time-resolved analysis of light-material interaction in transparent materials using a pump-probe microscope
Optical and mechanical implementation of novel optical concepts for glass processing with lasers incl. control and automation
Validation of optical concepts and testing of newly developed optical systems
Development and analysis of new machining processes with regard to laser parameters and beam shaping concepts
Independent processing and evaluation of the processes
Collaboration in the advanced development team, material processing with state-of-the-art USP lasers
Your qualifications
studies in physics, optics engineering, electrical engineering, control engineering or a comparable field of study
Laboratory experience with lasers/optics desired
First programming skills (Python/Matlab) appreciated
Knowledge of MS Office
Very good language skills in English and German
Analytical and conceptual skills, structured and independent way of working
