Those in corporate law at PwC will provide legal advice and support to clients on various corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance. You will leverage experience in corporate law and the ability to navigate complex legal frameworks.

About the Role

  • Kickstart your career journey as an Intern in our Corporate Law practice within PwC Legal Services. This role is designed for eager learners ready to gain hands-on experience in strategic legal practice, working with a dynamic team to assist clients in navigating the complexities of corporate law.
  • Purpose: Provide support to PwC Legal Indonesia’s teams through legal research, basic drafting, document review, due diligence support, and matter coordination under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with legal research: Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis; prepare clear summaries, citations, and briefing notes to aid client advisory.
  • Documentation support: Help draft and review corporate documents and contracts (e.g., letters, memos, basic agreements) under supervision.
  • Administrative tasks: Contribute to incorporation, compliance, and restructuring processes; maintain matter files, indexes, trackers, and accurate documentation.
  • Due diligence support: Perform structured document review and assist with data room organization as part of transaction or compliance workstreams.
  • Coordination: Support schedules, meetings, and take minutes for internal and client sessions as needed.
  • Regulatory updates: Compile case law and regulatory developments relevant to corporate law matters.
  • Learning and development: Engage actively in learning opportunities, gaining insights into the strategic approach of global entity governance.

Requirements and Professional Qualities

  • Education: Law (currently pursuing or completed). Final-year Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Law (Sarjana Hukum/LL.B or equivalent) from a reputable university, or fresh graduate.
  • Experience: Final year Law student, fresh graduate in Law, or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Availability: Full-time internship for at least 6 months.
  • Skills: Strong research capabilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Interest: A keen interest in corporate law and governance.
