In this role, you will support customer service activities within the Order Handling Team – Medium Speed, Switzerland. Reporting to the Order Handling Team Lead, you will assist the team with day‑to‑day order handling activities, ensuring accurate order release and confirmation, proper documentation, and transparent communication with customers.
You will gain hands‑on experience in order processing within an international environment and support the smooth execution of customer orders throughout their lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities:
Release and confirm customer orders in the system, including processing updates, changes, and cancellations
Prepare and support documentation required for invoicing and certification
Provide timely and accurate updates on order status to internal stakeholders and customers (reporting)
Support the Order Handling Team with administrative and coordination tasks related to ongoing orders
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal processes and guidelines
Your Background:
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Previous internship or practical experience in customer service, logistics, order processing, or freight forwarding is a plus
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, as well as email and communication tools
Fluent German and English (written and spoken) is a must
High attention to detail and accuracy when working with data and documentation
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively
Duration: 12 to 18 months, with possibility to extend
Location: Baden, Switzerland
