Internship dates: August 31st to December 18th, 2026

Location: The position is based at our Mississauga location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

This internship will give you valuable experience in lean manufacturing, project management, and technical design.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Work with the continuous improvement team to troubleshoot and implement new advanced technology solutions for the operations; manufacturing line.
  • Participate in continuous improvement quality events with lead on actions.
  • Prepare and support technologies for new capital equipment acquisitions; including new business case development, technology selection, update and create CAD drawings for layout of new and relocated equipment.
  • Communicate designs and offer guidance in fabricating components with outside vendors.
  • Work with technical team to evaluate and implement closed door technology strategies.

What do you need to be successful? 

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing studies in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Independent, self-motivated, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to EH&S, Production and Quality objectives.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong Project Management Skills.

Assets :

  • Demonstrated understanding of Cad packages.
  • Commitment to the application of new technologies, closed door and lean manufacturing principles.
