Workforce Optimization (WFO) provides expertise at global level with the ambition of elevating the way leaders shape Roche’s workforce. As a member of the WFO Area of Practice (AoP), the Stakeholder Engagement Specialist is responsible for the execution of a global data validation campaign to the people data we collect as part of the external partner onboarding and administration process.
We are looking for an External Workforce Stakeholder Engagement Intern to support the execution of a global data validation campaign related to the people data we collect as part of the external partner onboarding and administration processes. The initiative ensures that required regulatory and compliance information is complete and accurate for all external partners working with Roche.
In this role, you will engage with Roche Responsible Persons (RRPs) — Roche employees who oversee and manage external partners such as contractors, consultants, managed services and collaborators. You will support them throughout the validation campaign by tracking progress, following up on incomplete submissions and helping ensure timely completion.
You will work closely with the Project team to support the successful delivery of the initiative.
Stakeholder Engagement & Follow-up
Engage with RRPs responsible for managing external partners across the globe
Follow up with RRPs to ensure completion of data collection and validation (e.g. support RRPs with incomplete submissions)
Coordinate with the extended external workforce team on data changes and questions
Project Management
Monitor completion and validation progress across RRPs and track completion status
Maintain structured tracking of outreach and responses
Risk Identification & Escalation
Identify delays or challenges impacting campaign completion
Escalate issues and align with the Project & Campaign team when needed following a predefined governance model
Experience
Experience in stakeholder engagement, coordination or operational support roles
Work experience in matrixed, international settings and/or medium-sized/ large corporations
Comfortable interacting with stakeholders and driving follow-ups to ensure task completion
Skills&Profile
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate stakeholders
Intermediate project management skills, including ability to provide regular status updates in a structured way - proactively identifying risks/ issues, and relevant mitigations/ resolutions
Affinity for IT tools for end users
Ability to handle challenging conversations professionally, including stakeholders who may be hesitant to participate
High motivation, independent & collaborative team worker with can-do attitude and structured, organized work style
Flexibility to adapt to different needs and pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
Strong communication skills and fluency in English, other languages (e.g. German, Spanish, Chinese, French) are a plus
