🛠️ What will you do?
In RGE_TM department we focus on customer performance, numerical simulations, and testing with a range of complex and exciting missions Our teams shape the future of automotive engineering by meticulously tracking the future vehicles throughout the design, testing, and validation phases.
We dive into the virtual realm with cutting edge numerical simulations and virtual reality testing before moving on to real world prototype testing on test benches and tracks. Our engineers also play a vital role in managing and testing all vehicle materials, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Beyond that, we are involved in essential tasks such as technical documentation, regulatory compliance, and vehicle homologation for Renault Group products worldwide.
Join our global team spanning Romania, Turkey, and Morocco, operating across five strategic sites with 800 talented individuals dedicated to excellence.
The internship will take place in the Materials Engineering Laboratory at the Titu Technical Center.
Main Responsibilities
Conduct deformulation studies to understand the formulation structure of RGS materials used in exterior automotive parts.
Analyze the role and influence of each formulation component on aesthetic and functional performance.
Utilize laboratory characterization methods and analytical techniques for polymer deformulation.
Perform validation of artificial aging tests and evaluate RGS grades compliance with defined ageing requirements.
Contribute to studies aimed at improving polymer durability and lifetime for exterior applications.
🎯 The profile we are looking for:
Mandatory
Engineering background (Materials, Chemistry, Mechanical or related fields).
Proficiency in MS Office tools.
Strong analytical, synthesis, and reporting skills.
Good communication skills and adaptability to a new environment.
Foreign languages: English and/or French.
Nice to Have
Knowledge about polymeric materials
Chemical characterization knowledge
Interest in automotive materials and manufacturing processes
