Macquarie University is looking for a dynamic International Student Recruitment Campaigns and Conversion Officer to join our Future Students team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in attracting prospective international students from around the world and guiding them from enquiry through to enrolment.

About the Role
Reporting to our Senior Manager, International Student Recruitment Campaigns and Conversion, you will coordinate and support the delivery of international student recruitment acquisition and conversion campaigns and activities designed to increase applications and convert offers to enrolments. Key responsibilities include:
Developing, coordinating, and executing international student recruitment campaigns, marketing initiatives, events, and projects in close collaboration with your manager and the wider team.
Delivering end-to-end social media campaign management across all international markets, ensuring compliance with university guidelines and relevant international regulations.
Coordinating and supporting online conversion events such as webinars, liaising with faculties and offshore recruitment teams to identify resource and people requirements, and providing administrative and technical support.
Monitoring campaigns and marketing activities on an ongoing basis to track progress, identify issues early, and enable timely course correction.
Collating and analysing data from multiple sources to generate reports on campaign and conversion performance, evaluating effectiveness, and identifying new opportunities.
Contributing to reports and presentations for the Future Students leadership team, delivering insights into the prospective student journey to inform future recruitment strategies.
Maintaining data integrity within the team's CRM system, including data entry, cleaning, coding, and quality assurance.
Proactively identifying continuous improvements to the team's systems, processes, and procedures.
About Us
The Future Students team sits within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, People and Operations portfolio and coordinates the international and domestic recruitment strategy of the University. Future Students spans a diverse range of activities across the institution and is responsible for all aspects of student recruitment operations, including international student recruitment, articulation programs and partnerships, and global collaborations.
Working closely with Faculties and other portfolios, Future Students leads University-wide recruitment activities and generates significant income through the recruitment of fee-paying international students. With a well-established offshore recruitment network and comprehensive global partnership network, Future Students contributes to the maintenance and development of the University's external partnerships, particularly in the international space.
About You (Selection Criteria)
You are a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a genuine enthusiasm for international education and digital marketing. You bring strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work to deadlines. Your cross-cultural awareness and excellent communication skills enable you to connect meaningfully with diverse stakeholders across global markets.
Tertiary qualification in business, sales/marketing, communications, or a related discipline, and/or equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating and executing data-driven acquisition and conversion campaigns and related activities.
Experience in social media advertising for large organisations, ideally across international markets.
Strong data analysis skills with a demonstrated ability to collate and analyse information from multiple sources and generate actionable reports.
Experience in organising and supporting online meetings and events, including providing administrative and technical support.
Knowledge and experience working with CRM systems and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Excellent time management, prioritisation, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal) with high cross-cultural awareness.
