Job Title: International Royalty Income Analyst

A little bit about our team:

The International Royalty Processing Team is part of the Global Administration division that resides within WMG’s music publishing company Warner Chappell Music and it plays a crucial role in supporting the end to end music value chain.

The team’s role of managing and reconciling the royalty processing of the EMEIA territories’ income is integral to the business. This involves working closely with the Local Royalties, Finance and Copyright teams in both the UK and other European offices to ensure all income is processed and reconciled in a timely manner to meet our contractual obligations to our clients.

Your role:

As an International Royalty Income Analyst, you’ll play a key role in making sure our songwriters are paid accurately and on time. You’ll be hands-on with international royalty runs, suspense management, and day-to-day royalty processing, while responding to queries and supporting projects that keep our global royalties operation running smoothly.

This role blends detail, problem-solving, and collaboration in a truly music-first environment. You’ll build deep knowledge of music publishing, work with passionate experts across the business, and see the direct impact of your work on our songwriter community. If you take pride in accuracy, enjoy variety, and want your work to matter, this is a great place to grow.

Here you’ll get to:

Oversea End-to-End Royalty Management

  • Take responsibility for processing and reconciling international royalty income across EMEIA territories, ensuring royalties are loaded, matched, and paid accurately and on time.

  • Work with multiple industry formats and systems, applying attention to detail to make sure income flows correctly through to songwriter statements.

Build Strong Cross-Border Relationships

  • Partner closely with Heads of Administration and Affiliate offices across EMEIA, acting as a reliable point of contact for assigned territories.

  • Collaborate day-to-day with Finance, Copyright and Royalties teams to resolve queries and keep processes aligned.

Dig Into the Detail and Solve Problems

  • Investigate discrepancies and suspense items through detailed analysis, research, and follow-up with internal and external partners.

  • Proactively identify issues and contribute ideas that help reduce risk and improve the quality of royalty processing.

Turn Data Into Insight

  • Analyse large and complex royalty data files from societies and third parties, translating them into accurate system loads and meaningful reports.

  • Create and maintain processing files that support royalty runs, reconciliations, and management reporting.

Grow Your Publishing Expertise

  • Support the International Royalty Processing Manager on projects and ad-hoc work that improve how we operate globally.

  • Take part in training and development opportunities that build your knowledge of music publishing, royalty flows, and administration systems.

About you:

  • You’re detail-oriented with a strong analytical and numerical mindset, and you take real pride in accuracy and follow-through.

  • You’re confident working with data and bring strong technical skills in Excel and data manipulation, comfortable handling large and complex files.

  • You communicate clearly and build positive working relationships across teams, territories, and cultures.

  • You’re curious, proactive, and quick to pick up new systems and processes, always looking for better ways to work.

  • You’re organised, adaptable, and able to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • You have a genuine interest in music and music publishing, and you’re motivated by knowing your work directly supports songwriters and rightsholders.

We’d love it if you also had:

  • Experience working in a busy, fast-paced office environment where accuracy and deadlines really matter.

  • A good understanding of music publishing or collection society processes, or hands-on experience within a publisher, society, or rights-based organisation.

  • Exposure to royalty processing, finance, or accounting, whether through a previous role, internship, or formal qualification.

  • Confidence working with large data sets and an interest in developing your skills in reporting, systems, and analysis.

  • Curiosity about how music, data, and technology intersect, and a desire to keep learning as the industry evolves.

  • Differing language skills, European and Asian regions advantageous
