The International Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing, planning and monitoring shipments of YETI’s international freight to YETI’s fulfillment facilities globally with ensuring a high level of customer service. This individual will perform duties related to managing shipper and consignee relationships, inbound management, carrier management and KPI scorecards, and tracking and tracing shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitors/utilizes exception management for freight in the Supply Chain and takes any proactive action as needed
· Coordinates freight delivery into Fulfillment Centers and International Facilities based upon service level requirements and optimizing and minimizing variance between forecasted and actual containers/shipments delivered
· Works with large specialty programs and with cross functional teams to assure success in delivering program freight prior to assigned deadlines
· Anticipate, provide and facilitate problem resolution on all shipment issues in order to meet or exceed satisfaction of customers, carriers and internal key stakeholders
· Conduct follow up and update Management on problem loads and actions that have been taken.
· Support carriers and global supply chain functions with transportation documentation as need (e.g. BOL, SLI, ISF, etc.)
· Establish and maintain carrier routings for shipments between fulfillment centers, suppliers, customers, vendors and all nodes within the YETI’s network
· Develop process to Investigate shortage and damage; complete appropriate documentation and file carrier claims as needed
· Develops and implements effective KPI s to achieve organizational objectives and targets
· Lead preferred Carrier/Supplier relationship management including monthly/quarterly carrier performance reviews and KPI scorecards
· Contribute to continuous improvement / optimization of the global network
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
· Knowledge of global transportation processes (Ocean, Air, OTR, Parcel) with high analytical proficiencies
· Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Decisions based on fact and analysis
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Communicates effectively and interacts professionally with customers, co-workers and management
· Good organizational skills with the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, multi-task, and use time effectively. Demonstrates attention to detail
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Transportation/Logistics or related field AND greater than 2 years of experience in fields of Transportation or related INTERNATIONAL supply chain
· Analytics Software knowledge (Tableau, Power BI)
· Transportation Management System (TMS) experience
· Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
· Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system preferred
