International Licensee Operations Manager must be proficient in business management; to manage and influence relationship between multiple internal and external shareholders, provide consultation on multi-years business planning, align long-term corporate vision and increase market penetration with objectives to maximizing brand presence. He or she will provide guidance on operational excellence and organizational expertise to support market growth while maintaining good operation standard and grow market profitability. Meanwhile he / she can support and provide training to new International Licensee Operations Manager.
This role is responsible for the overall revenue and net unit growth across portfolio primarily in Japan and Korea. He/she guides the implementation and execution of business plan objectives through providing operational/brand support and consultation to JV partners/licensees/franchisees to maximize brand equity and configurations in their respective markets. He/she is responsible for both existing businesses and new brand/market launches. Providing consultative support and overseen to partners/licensees in all business areas. Responsible for coaching and holding their partner/licensees accountable to the standards and reputation of the brand while driving sales and profitability and enhancing guest satisfaction. And creating growth opportunities through effective business planning, drive restaurant excellence through coaching and action planning, and build effective relationships through mutual trust and respect.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible of establish and maintain strong business partnership with our local partner and licensees, through systematic approach to gain business and commercial information, provide constructive feedback and consultation on business initiatives and short / mid- and long-term planning
Establish a clear KPI metric target and keep clear alignment with local partners to achieve Inspire goals and targets. And manage multiple stakeholders internal and external, move the needle in stuck projects.
Learn and live the current OKR approach, and educate market take similar approach to focus on store development and reach target profitability. A strong believer in consistent operation standard, able to demonstrate and reinforce on it to markets to meet Inspire expectation.
Work with a cross-functional Inspire team and Direct Manager for partners/Licensees reach their business targets, growth and profitability.
Be the role model for the new Inspire incomers, can lead by example and coach and training them for fast adaptation into the role.
Influence partners/licensees on the value of the people development component of their business plan and provides guidance on organizational structure and succession planning
Utilize our coaching model by seeking first to understand, providing candid feedback, offering suggestions, and committing time and resources. Building and developing the competencies of the partner/licensees of Inspire brand knowledge and operations.
Management of Company budget with direct manager and Manages personal expenses, follows all policies and required procedures, and documents all franchisee interactions and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in small to medium franchisee general management or large franchisee Director of Ops experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Fluency in communicating in English and ability to read, write & speak the language(s) in the assigned region (Korean and Japanese)
Demonstrated experience in providing technical and operational training
Strong relationship building skills; able to motivate and coach with excellent communication skills
