Base salary will be in the range $82,133 - $91,295 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5)
Based at our St Lucia location
As the International Admissions Officer, you will have responsibility for assessing international applications and managing queries. You will be assigned a particular geographic region of focus.
Key responsibilities will include:
Triage and respond to queries from students and agents using your strong customer service to provide accurate information. Additionally, liaise with internal stakeholders throughout the application process ensuring a positive and collaborative service.
Process and manage international applications and deferrals from submission to acceptance.
Refer too and ensure compliance with key legislation, University policies and procedures.
Proactively support the team to resolve workload issues and contribute to continuous improvement
Develop knowledge of and master UQ systems related to query management and international admissions.

A relevant degree or relevant industry and specialist experience in International admissions.
Strong communication and cross cultural skills allowing you to contribute to delivering a high level of customer service.
Demonstrated ability to operate with a high level of efficiency in a high volume, high pressure and ever changing environment.
Good knowledge of compliance in international admissions, policies and procedures, with the ability to contribute to continuous process improvements.
Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to performance targets related to quality and compliance.
Adaptability to learning and using new technology to process a wide range of tasks including streamlining queries and processing applications.
Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia and criminal history checks. This may also include checks relating to gender-based violence matters or other integrity and conduct requirements.
