Internal Sales Specialist

Position Summary:

This job role is responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with existing and potential customers, qualifying leads, and closing deals through remote communication channels.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Customer Engagement

  • Conducting outbound calls and emails to generate leads

  • Manage inbound inquiries and outbound campaigns via phone, email, and digital platforms.

  • Deliver accurate product information, positioning, and value propositions.

  • Qualify customer needs and route opportunities appropriately.

  • Maintain accurate and timely records in CRM systems.

2. Sales Generation and Conversion

  • Identify and convert qualified leads into sales opportunities.

  • Prepare quotations, conduct follow-ups, and close deals within pricing and margin guidelines.

  • Collaborate with field sales for larger or strategic accounts.

  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.

3. Service Excellence

  • Ensure prompt response to all customer interactions in line with service-level agreements.

  • Strive for first-contact resolution and high-quality customer experiences.

  • Participate in training, calibration, and quality review sessions.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, marketing, operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless customer delivery to national and international customers.

  • Provide feedback on market trends, product performance, and campaign effectiveness.

  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and process improvement efforts.

5. Reporting and CRM Discipline

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, activity logs, and customer records in CRM systems.

  • Monitor conversion metrics, revenue performance, and customer satisfaction results.

  • Provide periodic performance and pipeline reports to management

6. Decision-Making Authority

  • Authorized to negotiate within approved pricing and discount frameworks.

  • Recommends customer solutions and product configurations based on assessed needs.

  • Escalates exceptions or complex deals to management.

Job Requirements:

Education / |Professional Certification

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, telesales, or phone-based sales environment.

  • Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

  • Well spoken in English

Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office / Google Workspace.

  • Strong digital communication and documentation skills.
