Job Summary:

Be at the centre of customer success. As an Internal Sales Representative at EBV Elektronik, you’ll combine commercial drive with technical understanding to support and grow customer accounts across your portfolio. Working closely with customers, field sales, and technical teams, you’ll build trusted relationships, identify new opportunities, and promote EBV’s market-leading semiconductor solutions—driving sustainable growth, profitability, and long-term value for customers, suppliers, and EBV Elektronik.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Identify and deliver the right solutions for customers, applying sound judgement and a structured sales approach to create an excellent customer experience.

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer contact, promoting EBV’s products, services, and technical capabilities.

  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to customer enquiries, maintaining a consistently high level of service.

  • Manage sales activity from first contact through to order fulfilment, following up to meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Grow existing accounts by applying strong customer insight, including pipeline activity, projects, and key delivery milestones.

  • Collaborate within a team-based sales environment, coordinating closely with field sales, product management, supply chain, and supplier partners.

  • Provide customers with clear, accurate pricing and quotations, along with up-to-date product and solution information.

  • Coordinate customer requirements around stock availability, lead times, and pricing, balancing customer needs with commercial objectives.

Ideal Person:

  • Possesses expert knowledge of customer needs, products, and the complexity of business services Identifies and develops new qualified customers to expand Avnet’s portfolio of increasingly complex accounts.

  • Applies advanced knowledge of systems such as SAP, ERP, and order management to support efficient sales processes.

  • Utilises Excel to solve problems, analyse data, create formulas, and present information clearly Leverages tools including QuoteFX, SupplierWin, PowerPoint, and WebEx to deliver professional solutions.

  • Exercises independent judgment and initiative to complete complex assignments, adapting to new situations creatively.

  • Collaborates effectively with internal teams and external contacts, contributing to special projects and strategic initiatives.

  • Travels occasionally to customer sites or training events, including overnight stays when required.

  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of organisational practices and procedures to make a meaningful impact on business outcomes.

  • Manages responsibilities with minimal guidance, recognising that actions may significantly affect customers, colleagues, and business performance.
