Our journey
Founded in 2017 by Alexandre and Steve, Qonto has grown to 1,600+ Qontoers serving over 600,000 customers across 8 European countries: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, and the Netherlands. We have been profitable since 2023, and we are just getting started as we want to become the indisputable European leader in SME finance management.

Join our Risk & Compliance department as an Internal Controller - Tech to support Qonto's strategic evolution into a Credit Institution.
As an Internal Controller focused on the Data & Security team, you are a key member of our Internal Control system and accompany the development and execution of the Internal Control Plan on the Tech operations.
👩💻🧑💻 As an Internal Controller, you will:
• Regularly review and improve our processes, ensuring that Qonto offers a stellar product to its clients while becoming a bank;
• Work closely with our data, security and tech teams - for all our markets.
• Ensure the right alert systems are in place;
• Ensure data governance framework are consistent with key regulations;
• Ensure IT security compliance.

• Their background? Guillaume joined Qonto in March 2023 after close to 8 years in Internal Audit and Front Line positions within the Banking Sector. He is now leading the Internal control function of a growing team of 17 talented people who provide an insightful & positive approach to foster risk awareness and continuous improvement at Qonto.
• What they can bring to the team: Upon joining Qonto, Guillaume contributed to build up a positive perspective on Internal Control, combining continuous improvement with pragmatic management of Qonto’s risks. With his strong operational oriented mindset and methodological background, he will be the perfect lead alongside
Charlotte who will be your operational manager to help you ramp-up on your problem-solving skills and help you grow into an acknowledged expert that brings valuable inputs into a fast-paced environment.
🏅 About You
• Experience: You already have + 4 years of experience in IT audit/control or consulting. A previous experience in a banking or insurance sector would be a definite plus;
• Communication: You can synthesize information from a variety of sources and communicate the key points to other teams with detail and simplicity;
• Analytical mind & rigorous: You are a fast learner with strong attention to detail. You have good analytical and quantitative skills to quickly elaborate on key findings and propose processes improvements;
• Languages: You are fluent in English. Another European language (French, Spanish, Italian, German) is a definite plus;
• Academic Background: You have a Master’s degree from an Engineering school or equivalent.
