Communication, Culture & People Engagement Team

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Internal Communication Specialist to join our team at Mercer. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of internal communication activities to help engage and inform our employees. If you are eager to grow your skills in internal communication and employee engagement, we would love to hear from you!

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the development and execution of internal communication plans to share key messages with colleagues in both Polish and English.
  • Building relationships with colleagues to better understand their needs.
  • Supporting the organization and promotion of cultural and employee engagement events.
  • Creating clear and engaging content for internal communication channels such as emails, intranet and Viva Engage.
  • Collaborating with the Warsaw and Global Leadership Teams to help organize Town Halls and all-colleagues meetings, ensuring important information is communicated effectively.
  • Helping to monitor and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives and suggesting improvements.
  • Assisting in maintaining and updating the SharePoint platform with relevant content.

Required Skills and Competencies
We are looking for someone who is creative, open and approachable, with a genuine interest in internal communication, employee engagement and event coordination.

You are a great fit if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in internal communication ideally within an international environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills in both English and Polish.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Basic knowledge of internal communication best practices and employee engagement.
  • Willingness to collaborate and build relationships with colleagues at various levels.
  • Familiarity with communication tools and platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Viva Engage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g Canva) is a plus but not required.
